Our Governance
Alliance Anti Trafic (AAT) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women and children across Southeast Asia. Established under the French Law of 1901 and recognized as being of general interest, AAT is headquartered in France and operates through its branches in Vietnam and Thailand. While each branch complies with the legal and regulatory requirements of its respective country, all entities share a common mission, strategic vision, and ethical standards.
Global Governance
AAT is governed by its Board in France, whose members are elected for a three-year term. The French Board provides overall strategic oversight for the organization, ensuring that all initiatives and operations across France, Vietnam, and Thailand align with AAT’s mission, objectives, and values. The Board supports and coordinates with AAT’s international branches to maintain the quality, impact, and integrity of all activities.
Governance in Thailand
AAT Thailand, registered as a foundation under registration number Kor Thor 1614, oversees and implements projects in Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. Working in close collaboration with AAT France, the Thai Foundation is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising regional programmes and may establish partnerships with other organizations to advance its mission.
The Thai Committee, whose members are elected for a four-year term, is responsible for the governance and management of the Foundation in accordance with Thai law and the Foundation’s regulations. Its responsibilities include developing and implementing policies; overseeing finances, assets, and operations; establishing rules and procedures; submitting operational and financial reports to the relevant authorities; and ensuring that all activities are conducted in line with the Foundation’s objectives and committee resolutions.
The Committee may appoint or remove subcommittees, permanent officers, honorary committee members, patrons, and consultants to support the Foundation’s work. Such appointments are subject to committee approval in accordance with the Foundation’s regulations. The Committee also serves as the Foundation’s official representative in its business and external affairs.
